Execution Mass Murder of “Jaliscans” (or is It “Arizonans”?) in Garage in Chicago’s West Lawn: Immigration Not a Factor

A Complete Mystery

Thursday at around 8:30 p.m., in a garage in the Windy City’s West Lawn neighborhood, an unknown number of unknown assailants bound the hands, feet, and mouths of four “Jaliscan” men and shot each in the back of the head, execution style, murdering all four.

The victims have been identified as Alonso Villarreal, 32, Roberto Rivera, 30, Luis Santillian, 30, and Noel Casares, age unknown. All of the victims “were found face down on the garage floor, their hands behind their backs.”

“‘Multiple weapons’ were found at the scene in the 6100 block of South Kildare Avenue, police said, but the motive for the slayings was not known. Police called the shootings ‘an isolated incident.’”

The Tribune Co. reporters covering the story cite recent mass shootings before closing,

“Thursday night’s shootings come about a month after Police Supt. Jody Weis said homicides have dropped sharply over the last two decades and, for the first seven months of 2010, are holding about even with last year.

He also noted other violent crimes have plummeted since the early 1990s. Weis also suggested that Chicago is not only battling street gangs but also an image problem when it comes to crime.

The summer started off with a particularly bloody weekend in June, when about 50 people were shot.”

Relatives say slaying of 4 men in garage a mystery by Pat Curry, David Elsner, Carlos Sadovi and Serena Maria Daniels, Chicago Breaking News (Tribune Co.), September 3, 2010.

Nowhere in the article is the word “immigrant” to be found.

Jaliscans or Arizonans?

“[Noel Casares’ sister-in-law, Maria Pelayo] said Noel and his wife came to Chicago about four years ago from Arizona where they lived for a time. They came up here to join Pelaya and to be with family, Pelaya said. She described Noel as a good father who was around for family gatherings and barbecues where the children would play with cousins. [The story spelled the sister-in-law’s name two different ways.]

She said she did not know who lived in the home and who the other men were. She said her sister and brother-in-law and other family members were from the coastal region in the state of Jalisco.”

Shortly before the killings, a Hispanic witness had seen 10-15 Hispanic men drinking beer in the garage, some of whom called out to her, “Mami!”

How could a woman so close to her sister that the latter moved over 1,500 miles, in order to be with her, and who works side by side with her at their night job not know who the sister is living with?

Jalisco? Is that a new state in the Union that I have yet to hear of? I know there’s a state of Jalisco in … Mexico. But that would make the victims … “immigrants.” Why don’t the Trib reporters want us to know that?

We know from clues that the four reporters left in the article, between quoted assertions of cluelessness from the police and the victims’ relatives and friends, that the victims were Mexican aliens, living in a neighborhood that through immigration had been turned Hispanic, and that the victims had almost certainly either known their killers, or been introduced to them by people they did know. And the m.o. of the killing is characteristic of gang killings.

A City of “Isolated Incidents”

In addition to the one June weekend cited by the reporters, in which 52 people were shot, already in April, some Chicago lawmakers called for the National Guard to be brought in, in order to restore order. That was following a period in which over the course of two April weekends, two weeks apart, 58 people were shot, of whom at least seven died. (Most or all of the above shootings were committed in black neighborhoods, suggesting black shooters.)

Note that the Midwestern diversitopia is still not considered near the top of America’s most violent cities. Thus, Supt. Weis notwithstanding, if anything, either the Windy City’s image has yet to catch up to its violent reality, or the reality of the more violent cities is too gruesome even to contemplate.

Two forms of “exportation” have conspired to reduce Chicago’s crime stats. As commenter “deachgo” at the Trib story noted,

“If Daley did not tear down the projects and the residents had not moved to subsidized housing in the suburbs… homicides would have increased sharply over the last two decades and, for the first seven months of 2010, would be more than last year! [Link added.]

The other form of exportation involves young, racist blacks taking mass transit from the cities to white suburbs, where they terrorize whites in front of the latter’s homes and, utilizing the new, regional planners’ fetish, light rail systems, at suburban malls. Although a substantial proportion of the crimes are committed by urban blacks, because the scene of the crime is in the suburbs, the offense is not counted against a city’s tally.

My journalist friend Jim Bowman, who lives in Ernest Hemingway’s birthplace of Oak Park, just outside of Chicago and accessible from Chitown via the El, notes on his blog, Blithe Spirit, a five-on-one gang attack carried out against a 59-year-old retired teacher walking his dog at 8:45 p.m. on a late August evening. (The victim fought back heroically, but there were just too many racist young punks.)

A reader of the newspaper crime story commented that an attack with the same m.o. was carried out in nearby Elmwood Park the next evening. The Oak Park victim’s wife spoke of “a gang initiation,” but that’s just another euphemism for a racist, black-on-white attack. (The newspaper has cut off commenting at its Web site.)

A City of Organizations

Chicago was already a diversitopia before the sort of mass, Third World immigration that gave us mass, execution murders of people from the state of Jalisco. It has been the national capital of genocidal black supremacy since circa 1934, when the Black Muslims (later renamed the Nation of Islam) resettled there, after the “racist” Detroit Police Department made the group’s life uncomfortable in the Motor City, following a ritual murder carried out by one of the BM’s members.

The genocidal, black supremacist group called Chicago “New Mecca.” It is from the NOI’s Chicago headquarters that the orders went out, which issued in the early 1970s’ murders of anywhere from 70 to 270 whites in California alone.

Chicago is also the home of genocidal, racial supremacist Black Liberation Theology, whose most famous devotee is the John Doe calling himself “Barack Obama.” BLT’s credo is that God must destroy the “white enemy.”

Chicago is also the home of a mind-boggling array of established, racist black criminal gangs, including the Vice Lords, Gangster Disciples, Black Disciples, Black Gangsters, Crips, Bloods, etc.

Finally, Chicago is the home of racist, black, allegedly Christian pastors who adamantly support the ultra-violent criminals who daily make education impossible in the city’s public schools.

Now that black diversity is being met by “Jaliscan” diversity, the only thing keeping Chicago from multicultural perfection would be an influx of, say, half a million Moslems.

America’s Most Violent Cities?

On March 1, crimeinamerica.net cited the following cities as America’s 20 “Most Dangerous Cities–Most Miserable Cities,” listing Chicago only at 10th.

1. Cleveland, Ohio.
2. Stockton, Calif.
3. Memphis, Tenn.
4. Detroit, Mich.
5. Flint, Mich.
6. Miami, Fla.
7. St. Louis, Mo.
8. Buffalo, N.Y.
9. Canton, Ohio.
10. Chicago, Ill.
11. Modesto, Calif.
12. Akron, Ohio.
13. Kansas City, Mo.
14. Rockford, Ill.
15. Toledo, Ohio.
16. New York, N.Y.
17. Sacramento, Calif.
18. Youngstown, Ohio.
19. Gary, Ind.
20. Philadelphia, Pa.

I have reservations about the foregoing list, however, due to its lack of New Orleans, Oakland, Richmond, CA (California’s murder capital), Camden, Baltimore, Houston, or Atlanta.

Perhaps we need to expand such lists to the 50, or 100, or 1,000 “Most Dangerous Cities–Most Miserable Cities.”

Another interesting angle is that crimeinamerica.net listed Buffalo as the eighth most violent city in America, while on June 4, Forbes listed the same city, site of a mass murder in front of a fancy, downtown eatery less than three weeks ago, as one of America’s ten most family-friendly places. In that regard, crimeinamerica.net was much closer to the truth than Forbes, which manipulated its data by combining high-crime, diverse (pardon the redundancy) Buffalo with its low-crime, white suburbs.

Poor, pc Forbes. At the time, I noted that venerable media institutions are increasingly degenerating to the level of The Pretend Encyclopedia, aka Wikipedia.

And police chiefs are increasingly lying like criminals.

Who Undermined the Search for Faisal Shahzad?

If you thought the information regarding the Times Square bomber was unusually detailed even before the perp was arrested, you were right.

The media released far too many facts while the police were still trying to locate Faisal Shahzad, who learned from the media that authorities knew his identity. Of course, when the press gets even semi-confidential information, someone will blab and then everyone follows. So the facts of the case were revealed, and that’s why the bomber booked the next flight to Dubai.

Curiously, NPR had a thoughtful piece on the subject:

How Media Coverage Crimped The Times Square Case, National Public Radio, May 6, 2010

Law enforcement officials usually say they can’t talk to reporters about an ongoing investigation, but there were leaks in this case from the beginning — partly because of the dynamic between two powerful law enforcement forces in New York City.

While the NYPD and the FBI talk publicly about how seamlessly they work together, the truth is there’s a lot of professional rivalry. Get detectives or agents out for a beer and one of their favorite pastimes is griping about something the NYPD did or something the FBI missed. Because of that, there tend to be a lot of leaks.

Details about the Times Square investigation were all over the local newspapers, even as authorities were still trying to puzzle out who was responsible. Any element of surprise that law enforcement might have had was evaporating.

To be fair, law enforcement was partly to blame. In many cases, it was the source of the information and leaks. But there seemed to be an extra level of frustration about the leaks in this case. As one law enforcement official told NPR, “Our operational plans were being driven by the media, instead of the other way around. And that’s not good.”

He said they watched in horror as news organizations started talking about the fact that the vehicle identification number on the Nissan Pathfinder used in the botched bombing had been taken off the windshield. Then another report said that wouldn’t matter, as authorities could find the VIN on other parts of the car. A short time later, the fact that they had found the number was reported. The coverage was providing a lot of clues about the direction the case was going.

On Monday afternoon, basically a day-and-a-half after the attack, a news organization reported that law enforcement officials were looking for an American citizen of Pakistani descent from Shelton, Conn. (NPR also had the information but didn’t report it out of concern that it would affect the investigation before Shahzad’s arrest.)

The NPR reporter may be quite right that inappropriate information burbled out as a result of agency rivalry.

But there is another possibility, namely that one of the 1500 Muslims in the uber-diverse New York Police Department wanted to help a fellow Islamist. I’m not saying that I believe that scenario to be the case, but it is a possibility that no one else has mentioned.

Whatever the truth, it was a very close thing that Faisal Shahzad was nabbed at all because he was rapidly scurrying out of the country as a result of knowing that police were hot on his trail.

Galleon Insider Trading: Those Blue-eyed Blondes, again

Bloomberg has produced an extraordinary story on the Galleon insider trading case: Woman Who Sank Galleon Was Beauty-Queen-Turned-Analyst Insider by Anthony Effinger, Katherine Burton and Ian King November 23, 2009

This breathlessly reports on the role of Danielle Chiesi, one of the six arrested on October 16th at the start of this case.

Danielle Chiesi spent a lot of time in hotel ballrooms and bars during the past decade… she was a regular at conferences on technology stocks, where she could get face time with executives and press them on how many microprocessors and how much software they were shipping that quarter.

Chiesi wore short skirts and low-cut tops, according to people who saw her over the years. One ploy was to go barhopping with a group, and then peel someone off to talk to on the dance floor

A blond, blue-eyed former teenage beauty queen, Chiesi used her sexuality to build sources at male-dominated tech companies…

Many were under the impression that Galleon’s chief Raj Rajaratnam, had most to do sinking Galleon. Another candidate would be the only other woman in the case, whose approach to the authorities in 2007 triggered the investigation: Roomy Kahn.

Roomy Kahn is not a blue eyed blonde.

The significant thing about Galleon case is that unlike the great insider trading prosecutions of the 1980s (which were overwhelmingly Jewish) this one appears to be predominantly South Asian.
Of the 21 people named in
Galleon Scandal Scorecard: Hedge Funds, Lawyers and ‘Octopussy’ by Bob Van Voris Bloomberg Nov 7 2009,
eight have South Asian names, one each Chinese and Hispanic (the latter not indicted) five appear Jewish and six may be of Christian heritage.

(“Octopussy” – alleged mastermind Zvi Goffer – and his brother Emanuel bear a name most often found in Israel.)

I predict that this pattern will be seen frequently in the future. To an extent not widely realized, Wall Street is now Minority Occupied Territory.

So why does Bloomberg deploy three reporters (shades of Palin! ) and 3,146 words, with extensive details as to heritage

Her grandfather, Swiss-born Alex Chiesi, studied with French chef Auguste Escoffier, who invented the Peach Melba dessert while running the restaurant at the Savoy Hotel in London in 1893. Alex moved to the U.S., where he owned several restaurants

and concluding

the men who sell silicon chips and software will miss the exuberant blonde who lit up the dance floor at those industry events ?

(Third mention of hair color)

There is hardly an older story than a woman using her femininity for business purposes, and it is quite unrepresentative of how the Galleon/Goffer ring actually worked.

Is Bloomberg in the Disinformation business?

Ask Reporters Antony Effinger, Katherine Burton and Ian King when they will deal with the important aspects of this scandal.

To Improve D.C.’s schools - Fire Black Teachers, hire H-1B Asians.

Last month Rob Sanchez reported on the scandalous practice, recently exemplified in Louisiana, of local school districts firing older and therefore more expensive American teachers and replacing them with younger immigrants brought in via the H-1B conduit.

He particularly excoriated the supine attitude of the Teacher Unions, perfectly happy to let their members suffer, provided the immigrants obediently join up. This politically correct and ruthlessly predatory attitude on the part of the Union leaderships is no surprise to anyone who has read Peter Brimelow’s book on the subject.

Now an even more classic case has surfaced in Washington DC

Barbara Hollingsworth: Importing teachers in the District of Columbia Washingtonexaminer.com November 10, 2009

District of Columbia Schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee is in hot water for firing 266 teachers and administrators Oct. 2, just weeks into the new school year and only a few months after inexplicably hiring hundreds of new teachers. But there may have been a method to her apparent madness.

According to the federal government’s Foreign Labor Certification Data Center, D.C. Public Schools submitted 46 labor condition applications in 2007 and 2008, giving Rhee authority to import hundreds of foreign teachers on H1B visas without having to make any attempt to find eligible Americans.

Hollingsworth, who quotes from Sanchez’ VDARE.com article without acknowledging us (life’s like that at the top of the food chain) puts the matter well:

Since visa holders can easily be coerced into joining the union and forced to do whatever the union bosses demand, union officials didn’t bother to protect the 20,000 or so American educators who lost their teaching jobs to foreign competitors — many of whom they were forced to train.

However, her solution

What urban school districts really need are right-to-work laws that empower school administrators to hire professional Americans with college degrees in needed core subject areas who are willing to give teaching a chance…

misses the point. So long as unscrupulous employers can use H-1B to drive down entry level salaries, that is what they will do.

The DC case is classic, though, in another sense. Michelle Rhee, the DC Schools Chancellor, is of course Korean – the daughter of immigrants. It is a safe bet that if “hundreds of foreign teachers” are indeed imported most will be Asian – that has been the norm so far.

So, like the DC Technology Office scandal, this is another case of enterprising Asians looking after their communities at the expense of Washington’s blacks – whose political leaders are too dim or too feckless to protect them

Is Eric Cantor (R-VA) any good?

So Representative Eric Cantor (R-Va) feels it expedient to curry favor with the MSM by sneering at Rush Limbaugh, and smearing the patriots who prevented the election of the RNC-preferred RINO in NY-23 this past week:

Can it be? Another Republican leader taking on Rush Limbaugh? Apparently so. And that leader is Virginia’s Eric Cantor, the second-highest-ranking GOP member in the House.

Eric Cantor takes on Rush Limbaugh, harsh GOP rhetoric Steve Padilla Los Angeles Times November 6 2009

This is derived from a Bloomberg News report

Cantor Calls for Inclusive Party, Criticizes Limbaugh Rhetoric by Lorraine Woellert November 7 2009

Cantor, when asked about Limbaugh’s comments that “Adolf Hitler, like Barack Obama, also ruled by dictate,” and his comparison of the administration’s health-care logo to a swastika, said the comparisons were wrong…
Cantor, 46, said Republicans must stay unified if they are to win elections. “That’s the lesson learned” from the Nov. 3 Republican gubernatorial victories in New Jersey and Virginia and the loss of a New York congressional seat in a race that divided the party

VDARE.com is not gung-ho about Rush. He and his staff resolutely fled from various credentialed attempts to get him to just consider the Alien Nation thesis when the book was published in 1996. As Peter Brimelow said at the time of the last CPAC Conference:

…there was another reason I skipped Limbaugh: I knew, from long observation, that notwithstanding his brilliant barn-burning delivery, he wouldn’t actually say anything new, especially in the area of immigration and the National Question that are VDARE.com’s focus. I think the NR editors are mediocrities intellectually and morally, but they do know a political risk when they see one, from long practice in not taking them. And they were quite right to say of Limbaugh, in their obviously uneasy editorial on the controversy: “His views are not extreme and his manner is not, for that matter, particularly angry.”

However, the fact is that he is at present – for Immigration Patriots, Conservatives, even GOPers – our Rat.

Is Cantor? As the only Jewish Republican Congressman, he comes under vicious community pressure, which calls for sympathy. But a thoughtful analysis of his Numbers USA ranking (“B”) indicates that he is not just bad – he is dangerous.

This B rating (which puts him in the middle of the Virginia Delegation, 50th out of 176 among House Republicans, and 189th out of 535 all Congress) is achieved by subterfuge.

Cantor votes steadily for enforcement proposals. Any “Law and Order” – or even “Competent Government” - man really has no alternative.

But he utterly failed (F-) on votes to “Reduce Unnecessary Visas”, did poorly (C) on “Amnesties”. Even worse, he DODGED all votes on the “Anchor Baby Citizenship” question – the Jugular of the transformation of America effort.

It needs to be emphasized: Switzerland has quantitatively a similar immigrant issue to America. It is far less of a political threat because being born there does not make a Baby Swiss.

Eric Cantor is in favor of transforming America. He opposes any effective measure to stop it. This is no surprise. His votes are probably the most extreme expessions of his prejudices his district can be fooled into tolerating.

This man deserves no place in the GOP House Leadership.

India asks for more H-1B visas, U.S. noncommital

U.S Trade Representative Ron Kirk met with Indian Commerce Minister Anand Sharma for the U.S.-India Trade Policy Forum (TPF) meeting in India. One of India’s top agenda items was to get more H-1B visas, but all they got was lip service.

This is what Kirk had to say about the meeting:

Remarks of United States Trade Representative Ron Kirk at the Trade Policy Forum Press Conference

Let me begin once again by expressing my gratitude on behalf of our entire United States delegation to Minister of Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma, and Commerce Secretary Khullar for their extraordinary hospitality in helping to host and welcome us for what has been a wonderfully productive sixth U.S.-India Trade Policy Forum.

So, India gave our trade representatives the Taj Motel red carpet service. Kirk’s statement was the typical boilerplate that follows international meetings. By “productive” Kirk probably means that they didn’t throw spicy curry in each others face.

According to India’s Economic Times:

On the issue of a more liberal visa regime for Indian professionals, the US assured India that it would take up the issue with the US immigration department and see what changes could be made. “We have made a note of India’s concerns and are going to certainly discuss it with our colleagues (in the immigration department),” Mr Kirk said.

Kirk is giving them a skillful bureaucratic answer that commits the U.S. to nothing. The Indians probably didn’t realize that there is no “immigration department” in the U.S., although we do have the USCIS. Of course the only ones that can actually do anything about immigration are our Congress, which Kirk forgot to mention (tsk! tsk!). Hopefully the Indians don’t figure this out before Prime Minister Manmohan Singh visits the US next month (don’t worry — none of those guys read my writings). LOL!

From the sounds of things, there wasn’t as much cooperation as everyone is claiming:

‘In the much talked about example, we open up our agricultural market to Indian mangos. These freely flow into our country. In return, we had hoped to export pistachios, which are very strong staple of your diet, not grown domestically and high-end motorcycles. Today, not one Harley Davidson motorcycle has been sold in India,’ he added.

Here is a family of 5 on Motorcycle in India that could use a Harley. There is no shortage of superbikes in India, just not any from the U.S. So much for free trade!

The mango controversy never seems to die. First it was mangos for nukes and H-1Bs, now it’s mangos for pistachios and motorcycles. In my opinion that’s a very big improvement! If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you probably haven’t seen my world renowned video: “Mangos that Glow in the Dark”.

Those talented immigrants at work…

Further supporting my contention on Saturday that the Galleon insider trading case demonstrates how much Wall Street has become Minority Occupied Territory is Galleon Sinks; Informant Surfaces By SUSAN PULLIAM The Wall Street Journal October 22 2009

The informant who touched off the insider-trading case is identified by a Securities and Exchange Commission complaint as “Tipper A” … According to people familiar with the matter, the informant is Roomy Khan… The last listed address for Ms. Khan, 51 years old, and her husband, Sakhawat Khan, is Atherton, Calif.

The WSJ notes

In July 2007, the informant identified as Ms. Khan “arranged to pay” $10,000 to a junior Moody’s analyst for inside information on a takeover of Hilton, the complaint said…The former Moody’s junior analyst, identified by someone familiar with the matter as 27-year-old Deep Shah, denied Wednesday that he passed any confidential information in exchange for money, as alleged. Reached in Mumbai, he said: “I don’t know anything about this.”

The Journal further reports

The evolving details show how Mr. Rajaratnam allegedly gleaned inside information from a circle of technology analysts he had known since the 1990s, when he was an analyst at investment bank Needham & Co. They include two other cooperating witnesses: California hedge-fund managers Choo Beng Lee, who also worked at Needham, and Ali Far, who once worked at Galleon,

Do I see a pattern?

Insider trading, of course, is extremely attractive because a couple of phone calls can reap millions. Pity Vivek Kundra’s hard-working former colleagues:

Farrukh Awan…and his boss, Yusuf Acar, were fired after federal authorities accused them of asking government contractor Sushil Bansal for cash so they would approve Bansal’s employees for jobs at the city’s technology office…Awan worked for Bansal’s Advanced Integrated Technologies Corp…before being hired as a full-time city employee in 2006. By then, authorities say, Awan had already conspired with Bansal to receive kickbacks based on the hourly wage Bansal’s workers received at the technology office…One of Bansal’s employees, Sarosh Mir, has pleaded guilty to submitting inflated time sheets to the city, sometimes for employees who did not work for the District.

Another guilty plea expected in D.C. tech office kickback scheme By: FREEMAN KLOPOTT The Examiner October 23, 2009

All these details…so much administration. In the two years Kundra was “Chief Technology Officer” for the District of Columbia wouldn’t he have sensed something was going on right under his nose? But since he is protected by President Obama’s racial predelictions it does not matter.

Rep. Giffords’ Bill To Triple H-1B Visa Cap

H-1B legislation has been quiet for awhile, but it looks like that is going to change.

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords introduced legislation to Congress that would double the H-1B cap, and in some circumstances triple it. The way it would work is that the yearly cap of 65,000 would be raised to 130,000 but if 130,000 H-1Bs were actually used, the cap would go up to 180,000 the following year.

The Giffords bill will guarantee that during the next economic recovery Americans will not get the jobs. It would be far more accurate to call this the “Jobless Recovery Act” instead of “Innovation Employment Act”. Bill Gates praised the new bill so it is officially Microsoft certified junkware.

The Giffords bill is not on Thomas.gov yet. I called her office to ask what the status of the bill is, and they said it is in the Judiciary Committee for review. Since it is not formally introduced to Congress we cannot see it yet. The staffer was vague on dates but said it may be several days to a week before the bill is formally introduced, and he hinted that there may be some modifications to the text of the bill while it’s in the Judiciary. The staffer said that portions of the bill may still be in the writing stage. I was told that the bill will be almost the same as her 2008 bill.

There is an article written by Grant Gross in the internet magazines Computerworld and CIO which are causing confusion. His article was originally published in 2008 to discuss Giffords’ previous bill. A lot of people are getting confused because several internet sites have reprinted his article with a date of October 29, 2009. Coincidentally, since the bill is to remain basically the same, Gross’ article is mostly correct about the new bill. The title of his article [Bill would double cap on H-1B visas] is misleading because it says the cap would be doubled, but it could actually triple. Keep in mind that authors rarely get to choose titles so it was probably chosen by editors. Both of those articles have comments that are worth reading, and some recent ones are being posted.

The Gross article had some strangeness coming from the Giffords office to justify this bill. Giffords and her PR secretary have been saying similar things since 2008, so I believe the quote is accurate:

Giffords sees the importance of H-1Bs because Southern Arizona has been growing as a hub for tech companies, Karamargin added. “There’s a need to stay competitive and keep the momentum growing,” he added. “That means making sure the talent is available to drive the local and national tech economy.”

Folks, I’m here in Arizona and I have been to Southern Arizona many times. I live in the Phoenix area which is considered central Arizona. The only hubs you are going to see are from the wheels of the jeeps and trucks the coyotes use to smuggle illegal aliens and drugs across the border. The city of Tucson has been shedding what few high tech jobs it had, and there is nothing between there and Mexico besides a few cowboy bars and junk food restaurants. If you head out towards Tombstone or Naco you might be able to find a few technician jobs installing the virtual border fence, but don’t expect to find engineering jobs since most of the equipment will probably come from China.

Arizona doesn’t need more tech workers — we have enough of them drawing unemployment. The jobless techies in California would fill the needs of Arizona about 1000 times over so Karamargin’s claim that Arizona needs to import techies from foreign countries is downright wacky.

Giffords’ connections with Indian special interests make me believe that the timing of this bill has something to do with the India Trade Policy Forum meeting that will take place in India on October 26 where India will be requesting an H-1B increase. We know India will be asking for more H-1Bs and this bill will give them what they want. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if Giffords goes to that meeting in New Delhi, but so far her website doesn’t list it on her agenda. She signed a letter which makes me very suspicious:Building a Strategic Partnership: U.S.-India Relations in the Wake of Mumbai”.

Giffords seems to curry favors (sorry about the pun) from Indians. For example, the “Taste of India” restaurant gave her campaign about $1,600 in contributions. On a more serious note, she voted YES for the India Nuclear Agreement.

The sleaziness doesn’t stop with curry however. Make no mistake about it — Giffords is a Bill Gates girl. She attended his sham hearing on March 2008 before the House Science and Technology Committee and she asked softball questions about his desire to have unlimited H-1Bs. Giffords isn’t just a Gates groupie though — Gates makes sure that she gets paid handsomely. AmeriPAC gave her $10,000 and AmeriPAC gets funding from Microsoft.

To follow the crooked money trail, use these links:

The Giffords bill is a significant threat to large segments of the American workforce. Take it very seriously! If you wish to contact Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’s office be sure to ask for an immigration or economic staffer because the front line staffers are clueless college kids.

Canadian Government To Appeal Case Of White South African Refugee

Recently, Canada’s immigration and refugee board granted asylum to someone from Africa…who was white. Whites are now persecuted in South Africa, and Brandon Huntley has the persecution marks to prove it.

Ottawa to challenge controversial refugee ruling

Decision so infuriated South African officials that the country’s leading political party labelled Canada “racist”

By Bill Curry and Josh Wingrove

Globe and MailSeptember 5, 2009

The Conservative government is launching a court challenge of the Immigration and Refugee Board’s decision to grant a white South African asylum in Canada because of the colour of his skin.

The independent panel’s decision so infuriated South African officials that the country’s leading political party labelled Canada “racist.” South Africa’s top diplomat has been urging Canadian officials all week to challenge the decision in court.

Thursday, a spokesperson for Immigration Minister Jason Kenney confirmed Ottawa will seek leave to appeal the decision that allowed Brandon Huntley to live in Canada as a refugee.

“The government is going to be seeking leave to appeal the IRB’s decision to grant Mr. Huntley refugee status [to] the Federal Court,” spokesman Alykhan Velshi said.

“Our department’s lawyers, as well as those from the Department of Justice reviewed the IRB ruling over the last several days and we’re going to seek leave to appeal and we’ll be making submissions to the court in the fullness of time, and it would be inappropriate to comment further because the matter will be before the courts.”

The minister’s position was a departure from earlier this week, when he and his staff declined comment to The Globe on Mr. Huntley’s case, saying it would be inappropriate because the Immigration and Refugee Board is an arm’s-length agency.

Mr. Huntley is a 31-year-old South African who came to Canada in 2006 as a carnival worker. He stayed illegally before filing a refugee claim.

Revealed this week, the decision by lone board member William Davis accepted Mr. Huntley’s argument that his safety would be in danger if he returned to South Africa. He had claimed he’d been the victim of seven attempted robberies and called a “white dog” and “settler.” He did not report any of the incidents to police, saying he did not trust them.
