Lodi’s Annual Pakistani Independence Day Celebration: Cancelled!
Lodi’s third annual Pakistani Independence Day celebration has been cancelled.

According to Nawaz Shah, a former member the South Asian Culture Club that helped organize the first event, “everyone is too busy.”
But former Lodi City Manager Dixon Flynn reflected the majority opinion when he said, “Because of all the recent scrutiny … they’re probably hesitant to come out in front of (the public eye).”
