President Bush is on vacation–again!

As David Letterman joked,

“President Bush is taking his summer vacation. It’s a five-week vacation. He has taken his 50th vacation in the last five years, 50th vacation. That’s about the national average, isn’t it?”

Bush loves his time-off in Crawford.

Interestingly, the town of 705 residents (as of the 2000 Census) is 88% white with only a small handful of Hispanics and African Americans and no Asians.

Really…considering that Bush goes on at such length about Hispanics and their contribution to the country, I would expect him to spend more of his free time mingling with them.
