In fact, [2] this saying is only eleven years old, it’s from [3] Alien Nation, 1995. And here’s the full quote, from page 10:

“Because the term “racist” is now so debased, I usually shrug such smears off by pointing to its new definition: anyone who is winning an argument with a [4] liberal.Or, too often, a [5] libertarian. And, on the immigration issue, even some [6] confused conservatives.”
