When McCain made his ridiculous[1] “Call it a banana” remark, is there anyone else who was reminded of the [2] famous New Yorker cartoon, first published [3] December 8, 1928, of the little girl who is being asked to eat her vegetables?
(Young Mother:) “It’s broccoli, dear.”
(Young Daughter:( “I say it’s spinach, and I say the hell with it.”
