The Racist Cynthia McKinney Blog

Wow! You are not going to believe some of the postings on McKinney’s blog.

(Congressman Cynthia McKinney is that BLACK WOMAN!! (her words and emphasis) who hit a cop on the Hill and got away with it.)

She claimed racism or racial profiling or some such nonsense…judging by her blog, she would know a lot about racism.

“The good ol’ boy cracker-crats of the Republican party are having themselves a regular hootenanny over allegations that congresswoman Cynthia McKinney landed a punch on a security guard at the Capitol.” [McKinney Campaign Blog]

Cracker, cracker, cracker…that’s ok but I can think of a similar word for her race which is strictly verboten.

Hmm…I can’t call her that word but I can call her a hypocrite!

Cannon vs. Jacob: What It Means To Us Win or Lose

Almost two years ago to the day, VDARE.COM predicted that Utah’s 3rd Congressional District Republican incumbent Chris Cannon’s primary victory over under-funded and little known challenger Matt Throckmorton was a “costly victory.”

That in 2004 Cannon, a four-term veteran, was forced into a primary run-off spoke volumes about his dwindling popularity.

The main reason that Cannon was unpopular then and is unpopular now even in his heavily Republican district is his advocacy, reiterated multiple times, of unlimited illegal immigration.

Based on Cannon’s record, VDARE.COM proclaimed that he would remain “a tempting target” in all his future elections.

And we were right.

Now Cannon is again fighting for his life in yet another primary. His opponent this time is John Jacob. And once more immigration plays the central role in Cannon’s campaign.

Jacob, a local businessman, is taking it to Cannon on the incumbent’s dismal immigration record.

Cannon supports amnesty. And he is using all the familiar tricks to paint Jacob as an extremist on immigration, saying in a recent debate:

“That disagreement is whether the Republican Party is going to be some kind of new xenophobic, anti-foreigner party or whether we’re going be the party of a country that we’re thrilled has grown.”

Cannon versus Jacobs has drawn national attention because of the dueling House-Senate approaches to immigration reform. If Cannon loses, it will be because of his long-standing open-borders commitment.

Coupled with Republican Brian Bilbray’s special election in California’s 50th District, propelled by his anti-illegal immigration stance, a Cannon defeat would spell more bad news for those who support S. 2611, the Bush/McCain/Kennedy/Specter Amnesty-Guest Worker Immigration Acceleration proposal pushed by the White House.

President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, leaving no stone unturned, have recorded messages played throughout the Third District encouraging Republicans to get out to vote for Cannon.

On the other hand, the Team America Political Action Committee, endorsing Jacob, has spent $50,000 in radio ads that say:

“A vote for John Jacob is a vote for cleaning up the immigration mess Chris Cannon helped make.”

The race may go down to the wire. Two separate Utah polls show Cannon ahead but in one, Jacobs is within striking distance.

Whatever the outcome, here is what we need to focus on: an incumbent, Cannon, because of his immigration advocacy was forced for the second straight election into a primary run-off.

Cannon has been forced to dip significantly into his own funds to defend his outrageous statements and behavior on illegal immigration.

Like others of his ilk, Cannon is on the defensive. Whether he wins or loses, every other U.S. Congressional candidate–Republican and Democrat alike–knows what got Cannon into so much trouble.

And since they will all remember in November, we can expect to make gains in our fight for sane immigration policies.

Karl Rove: La Raza Man Of The Year!

How is this for a political invitation:

The Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton invite you to join them in saluting the career of Senator Strom Thurmond.

Personally, that would be the moment I look to the sky for all the locusts and hail fire.

But stranger things are happening…look at this:

The National Council on La Raza (The Race) will be holding their annual meeting in Los Angeles later in July–and they have quite the line-up of speakers.

Former President Bill Clinton will participate in Cafe’ Con Clinton, an hour-long breakfast meeting.

Rep. Hilda Solis (D-CA)…a name synonymous with liberal minority entitlement.

The standard Union Racket Jacket:

John Wilhelm, President, Hospitality Industry, UNITE HERE!
Eliseo Medina, International Executive Vice President, SEIU
Maria Elena Durazo, Executive Secretary-Treasurer, Los Angeles County Federation of Labor
Arturo Rodriguez, President, United Farm Workers
Irasema Garza, Director of Womens Rights, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO

Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor and Antonio Villaraigosa, Mayor of Los Angeles…no surprises there.

There will also be a Townhall-style discussion about future Latino Leaders and featuring (and I am quoting) “Latino student activists who organized recent Marches.”

So far, this appears to be the typical speaker line-up for The Race (ists)…except for this part:

On Tuesday July 11, Karl Rove–Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President a.k.a. The Architect–will be the featured guest at a luncheon with Janet Murguia, President and CEO of The Race (ists).

Ok, what in this picture does not belong?

A big part of me hopes that this is just Sylvester playing nice with Tweety Bird because the Old Lady is watching…you know the game, as soon as she leaves for the grocery store Sylvester will resume his normal purpose in life: to eat Tweety.

But no…with elections upon us, Rove wants the GOP to appear inclusive and compassionate so he’s sucking up to the Mexican lobby.

(Yeah, and what’s the betting he bad-mouths all the Republicans who oppose the Senate Amnesty Bill?)

It’s an interesting move if you, like me consider the La Raza endorsement a kiss of death. In fact, if The Race (ists) were serious about defeating all those dratted conservatives who oppose illegal immigration, all they would have to do is award them with an NCLR Capitol Award.

Look at poor, ickle Chris Cannon (R-Utah)…The Race (ists) gave him the award last year and today he may lose his seat in Congress.

Why? Because the NCLR supports illegal immigration and so does Chris Cannon–the voters in Utah however, probably do not.

Rove may be looking to the future and all the hypothetical Hispanic votes he thinks the GOP can garner with a little pandering but what about today? What about right now?

How many conservative voters will he lose in the process and without those boring other-than-Mexican voters, how many GOP seats can he possibly expect to keep?

Senator Specter Scared Of Joe Guzzardi!

An extraordinary interview in today’s Washington Times [Specter puts borders first By Stephen Dinan, June 27. 2006] reveals the man who, as the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, was the leading Republican promoter of the Kennedy-Bush Amnesty/Immigration Acceleration Bill in disorderly, almost comic retreat:

The security of the border should be the No. 1 priority for an immigration bill, Sen. Arlen Specter said yesterday, and he’s open to a compromise that sets goals for border and interior enforcement ahead of a guest-worker program and path to citizenship for illegal aliens…Mr. Specter said he is open to legislation that would make those proposals contingent on having a secure border and improved interior enforcement…Such an amendment was offered during the Senate floor debate, but failed by a vote of 55-40, with Mr. Specter joining most Democrats and some Republicans in defeating it.(VDARE.com emphasis)

Has he been frightened by Joe Guzzardi’s threat to attend his proposed hearings?

Amazingly, it appears that Specter (RINO-PA) might actually have followed the example of fellow Pennsylvanian Senator Santorum and listened to his constituents (a little):

The chairman said he is open to novel approaches to reducing illegal immigration, including a suggestion by Lou Barletta, the mayor of Hazleton, Pa., who says landlords should have to verify that their tenants are in the country legally, just as employers are supposed to verify that their workers are legal.

Where Hazelton leads, Washington follows?

While this is a credit to the determination of the Bill’s Congressional opponents, it is time for them to be especially wary. Specter has an atrocious record on immigration and has been associated with the most egregious abuses of it. The pro Amnesty forces are determined and many courtiers in the House will be eager to curry favor. Concessions are likely to be cosmetic and unenforced.

But they are clearly shaken. VDARE.com wants them to know: we are watching and we can think!

American Bishops Cheer Catholic Immigration Boom

A recent demographic study prepared by the California Catholic Conference noted with satisfaction the growing population, both numerically and percentage-wise, of Catholics in the state due to immigration.

The paper begins with a warning that “leading Catholic indicators” like attendance and contributions reveal “a church at risk” (not to mention the continuing problems with pedophile priests as reinforced by a new documentary film, Deliver Us from Evil.). But the increasing demand for Catholic services, as typified by the California growth due to immigrants, shows that there is still a future for the decrepit church. That’s why it’s seen as a “Boom” by the hierarchy, not an overpopulation problem [A Catholic Boom for the United States, Catholic Online, 6/26/06].

As debate continues over immigration policy in the United States, a side effect of the large inflow of people is a sharp increase in the Catholic population. The size of that increase is evident in a study released last Monday by the California Catholic Conference.

By 2025, Catholics are expected to comprise around 36% of California’s population, up from the current 30%, according to the report, “Planning for the Future of the California Catholic Church: A Demographic Study.” The percentage of Catholics nationwide is expected to be 23.7% by 2025. The growth in California Catholics is fueled by the increasing Hispanic presence. [...]

Catholic Latinos will likely increase to 40 million in 2025, more than triple the 13 million in 1990. Total growth in the U.S. Catholic population will amount to 29 million by 2025. Virtually all of the growth (26 million) will be due to the Hispanic population. Proportionally, their share of the Catholic population will double, to 48%, over the 35-year period.

Of course, immigration’s so-called “side effect” of additional Catholics is precisely why the Council of Bishops has been campaigning furiously for amnesty — more immigrants mean a larger market share with increased political clout and corresponding access to taxpayer money. Furthermore, the Catholic Church is pushing hard for open borders in America because it believes it will gain power now being lost in Europe as Europeans become more secular.

The level of demographic detail in the 65-page report is considerable, and shows that the Catholic Church is quite cognizant of the benefits for itself resulting from the demographic warfare it is promoting.

In addition, the Council of Bishops is calling on parishioners to harbor illegal aliens in their homes. Say, Cardinal Mahony could certainly make room for a couple dozen in his presumably sumptuous digs.

Disabled Vet Immigration Patriot Tasered At Protest

Massive police power greeted a peaceful anti-immigration demonstration in Morristown, Tennessee, last weekend. A disabled veteran was shocked with a taser, arrested, thrown in jail and charged after carrying an American flag onto courthouse grounds.

Sonu Wasu of Wate 6 News (Knoxville, TN) reports that the plastic eagle on top of the flag was allegedly “too sharp”.

God forbid that eagle of freedom gets in the way. It might look like someone was patriotic!
