Kevin Carter’s report from the June 27th National Immigration Forum raised a few questions.

The forum has been scheduled for at least a year, probably longer.

What are they going to do—cancel it?

Senators Teddy Kennedy, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, et al. have been committed to attend for months.

What are they going to do-not show up?

Tamar Jacoby, Grover Norquist, et al. promised to speak long ago.

What are they going to do–not talk?

And once their mouths are open, what are they going to say except the same old, as Carter stated, “banalities, half truths, and outright lies?”

No one expects these scumbags to give up. But I don’t expect them to prevail either.

In the meantime, I request your assistance in a matter of growing urgency. If I am to arrange my trip to Pennsylvania from California to attend Senator Arlen Specter’s July 5th pro-illegal alien rally in Philadelphia, I need details.

Time is short; only a week remains until the 5th.

Yet a recent visit at Senator Arlen Specter’s website indicated “No Events Scheduled” for July.

If any of you have directions to where in Philadelphia the demonstrations will occur, please forward them to me.

Philly is, after all, a big city and I don’t want to get lost.
