UPDATED Myth Of The 300 Million

The Census Bureau has finally announced that the U.S. population has passed 300 milion (it thinks). We anticipated this by posting Kevin Carter’s The Myth Of The Three Hundred Million last week, reporting Professor Virginia Abernethy’s argument that there has been a serious undercount. She was still fine-tuning her underlying paper, but she’s now finished, and we’ve posted it here.

Hispanic Supremacy: Judicial Watch Investigates The Reconquista School

You might remember this ghastly school (if it can really be called a school) from my column a few moons back–it’s a charter school with an almost entirely Latino student body and a curriculum which includes subjects like Aztec Dance or worse:

U.S. History and Geography: A People’s history of Expansion and Conflict – A thematic survey of American politics, society, culture and political economy; Emphasis throughout on the nations the U.S. usurped, invaded and dominated.

Yes, our tax dollars are used to teach young students (many of them illegal aliens and/or the children of illegal aliens) to hate America.

While VDARE.com was one of the first to write about Academia Semillas del Pueblo, Judicial Watch has since picked up the ball and ran with it!

Judicial Watch (website) is “a conservative, non-partisan educational foundation, promotes transparency, accountability and integrity in government, politics and the law.”

By filing a California Public Records Act request, Judicial Watch (JW) was able to read through a stack of documents including the original charter application for Academia Semillas del Pueblo. The information they uncovered is astonishing…

Here are some of the determinations from the Judicial Watch report:

In 2001, “The Los Angeles Unified School District approved financing for what is very clearly a radical Mexican reconquista training ground for school children.”

How much does it cost the American taxpayer? About $1.6 million per year…then La Raza kicks in some of their own racist money for the cause.

According to JW, the school has three aims: Separatism, Anti-Americanism, and Marxism

The original charter application filed by Academia Semillas made their separatist agenda quite clear and LA Unified Schools either ignored it or applauded it but either way, they funded a charter school that promotes racism and Hispanic supremacy.

In 2001, Marcos Aguilar (school principal and General of the reconquista army) wrote a letter to La Raza (NCLR) requesting funding. In that letter he wrote:

“Our commitment to develop an excellent school that embraces our culture, defends our languages, and unites our families will reinforce the NCLR’s commitment to help organize charter schools…”

Our culture? Our language? Tip to Aguilar: Your culture and your language are doing just fine in your country…you might have heard of it…it’s called MEXICO.

You have to hand it to our fearless leaders! We have a serious threat to our national security from an enemy that actually published their intent to harm us in a charter school application!

But instead of cutting them off at these knees we fund their operation…now that’s classic!

The Judicial Watch report can be read here.

Brownback Welcomes North Koreans

Sen. Sam Brownback remains one of the most evil members of the Senate (no small feat), who works diligently to undermine the nation while convincing many that he is a man of morality and good works.

He appeared Monday on Fox News’ Cavuto show (aka “Your World”) displaying his cred as the top refugee importer.

VDARE.com readers will remember Browback’s particularly egregious hypocrisy as the promoter of importing thousands Somali refugees, but who had better political sense than to allow them to be resettled in his state of Kansas.

In other words, tribal refugees for thee but not for me.

Back to the Cavuto appearance, the segment subject was convincing China to discipline its junior client state regarding the recent nuclear business. China’s major fear, as it happens, is millions of refugee North Koreans allowed to escape into the PRC.

Sen. Brownback volunteered on his own that the United States could accept some or all of the commie Koreans — thank you, Mr. Generous!

Interestingly, Sen. Brownback favors a very extensive program of admitting Axis-of-Evil immigrants from Communist Korea and Iran, as he recommended in an April press release.

Brownback continued, “I have encouraged President Bush to do more to help refugees from North Korea, and soon I hope to see escaped North Koreans admitted into the U.S. as refugees, as opposed to asylum seekers. Officially recognizing those who escape as refugees sends a strong message to the regime, and little else can achieve as much tangible progress toward improving the human rights of North Koreans.”

Oh no, not the dread admission of refugees, terrifying to all dictators! Kim Jong-Il will surely surrender at the feet of the brave Sen. Brownback and his brilliant geo-politics.

Letter Warns Illegal Aliens About Voter Fraud–Writer Could Go To Jail

Out here in California, somebody took it upon themselves (because state and federal officials will not) to send a letter to an unknown number of recipients warning them of the penalties for illegal aliens should they vote in the upcoming election.

[Note warns Calif. Hispanics on voting, Associated Press 10/17/06]

The letter was written in Spanish and said:

“You are advised that if your residence in this country is illegal or you are an immigrant, voting in a federal election is a crime that could result in jail time.”

Clearly, the author was referring to illegal immigrants and immigrants who are lawfully in the country but not citizens and therefore not eligible to vote–immigrants who become citizens can obviously vote.

Some nitwit named Benny Diaz (a candidate for City Council in Garden Grove, Ca) had this response:

“It’s a very malicious and degrading letter. It’s to pull Latinos down and make them afraid…”

Email Benny…please.

Why is the concept of illegal immigration so difficult to grasp? American citizens who happen to be Latino should not be phased by this letter…illegal immigrants however, should pay attention.

Not surprisingly, MALDEF is all over the situation and the Office of the Attorney General also made a statement…a spokesperson for Attorney General Bill Lockyer said “the sender could be charged with a felony and receive up to three years in state prison.”[Complain to Lockyer]

Hmm…so basically, the punishment for sending a letter that warns illegal aliens about the potential penalty for voter fraud is three years in prison.

The punishment for illegal entry into the United States is…well, nothing.

For the love of creatures great and small…this is getting embarassing.

Britain Calls It Equality, People With Two Brain Cells Call It Stupidity

So there’s this new law across the pond called Britain’s Equality (Age) Regulations and the only thing more ridiculous than the actual existence of these laws is the manner in which some employers are choosing to enforce them.

October 1st ushered in the new regs which basically make employment discrimination on the basis of age illegal–how one feels about government interference with private business is another issue entirely but check this out:

Robert Walters runs a job recruitment agency and employs roughly 1,300 people. Mr. Walters has offices in 14 countries and all of them (not just the UK) received a memo dictating the new guidelines for recruitment.

Advertisements (or any other product designed to attract new applicants) may not include any of the 27 adjectives Mr. Walters has identified and listed as “flattering.”

(How precious is this PC world going to get…seriously?)

The no-no list includes “vibrant”, “dynamic”, “ambitious” and “hungry” which are apparently secret code words for “young”, “youngster”, “youthful” and “not old.”

It gets better…“self-starter” and “experienced” are (of course) verboten while any mention of university education should avoid specifying some of the more “modern” degrees such as “media studies” or “information technology.”

Now for my personal favorite…

When seeking applicants for the job of “physical trainer” , employees are not allowed to use the words “fit” or “energetic.”

Good grief, what attributes can they list for a personal trainer if “fit” is too discriminatory? Perhaps “living” and “breathing” are ok? What will these ads look like?

Something like this I think:

Now seeking men or women (or any other human not covered by either of those labels such as “in between genders” or “both of those genders” for career opportunities in the field of personal fitness trainer. Applicants must be able to fill out a three question application without collapsing from exhaustion.**

**Failure to meet the “not collapsing from exhaustion” criteria may not be used to exclude any applicant who is otherwise qualified for the position–which is to say they are not dead and still breathing on their own…although discrimination against applicants on life-support is of course, also forbidden…especially in the field of fitness training.

Please tell me the end is near…

(Yes, this is a true story…you can read it here.)
