Infidel TV Alert

Break out the fried pork rinds and beer or other haraam snacks for the televised showings this weekend of the documentary Obsession: Radical Islam’s War against the West.

I shouldn’t make fun because the subject of the film is deadly serious, but there is something about Islam that makes me want to maximize my infidel cred by ingesting lots of anti-Mooslim food products. And alcohol. Allah hates alcohol.

In comparison, founding father Ben Franklin wrote that “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to prosper.”

The film warns of Islam’s plans for a worldwide caliphate of Muslim rule and the destruction of western civilization. The idea may sound like a nutty pipe dream to some, but Osama and his pals must be very gratified by how well things are going in Eurabia by their tactics of immigration, high birth rates and terrorism. And in America, Muslim immigration is growing because no one in Washington will put a stop to it.

France is again erupting in “youth” violence in the immigrant neighborhoods, with last year’s mass car-b-ques escalating to several bus torchings, in which one woman was seriously burned. In July 2005, 52 Londoners were killed in the 7/7 bombings, yet the Dhimmi Prince Charles believes that Islam could solve the world’s problems with its teachings of peace.

Anyway, the film interviews knowledgeable people like Steve Emerson and Nonie Darwish (a Palestinian who turned away from Islam’s hateful teaching despite being the daughter of a martyr) and also shows plenty of examples of jihadist imams exhorting the faithful to kill … us.

How determined to kill you is radical Islam? This weekend, FOX News Channel examines the full scope of the threat to the United States, with the help of documentarian Wayne Kopping. This hour-long program exposes the stunning and explicit threats made against the West made by Islamic leaders. It features interviews with former terrorists, shocking Islamic news video never before broadcast in America, and undercover footage taken inside suicide bomber initiations and secret jihadist meetings.

The special will air Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET, and will be repeated Sunday at 1 a.m. ET, 5 a.m. ET, 4 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET.

Radio Show Host Fired For Derogatory (True) Comments

His name is John DePetro and up until a few days ago he was the host of a morning talk show in Boston.

WRKO-AM fired DePetro after remarks he made about certain gubernatorial candidates in Massachusettes–specifically one Green Party candidate named Grace Ross.

Apparently Depetro was aggrivated about Ross hogging all the time during a recent debate and told his listeners that:

“he wished someone would ‘tell the fat lesbian to shut up.’ “

Jason Wolfe (email him here…scroll down for the form) is Vice President of programming for WRKO and had this response:

“In the context of what he said and the tone with which he said it, the comments were completely inappropriate, derogatory and will not be tolerated.”

Ross (who is openly gay) laughed when she first heard the “fat lesbian” comment but still found it offensive.

DePetro is shocked that he was fired.

I am more or less…confused.

Ross is gay and fat…neither party disputes these facts but apparently saying it outloud is bad, bad, bad!

Homosexuals want people to look upon and treat them just like everybody else, right? Their sexual preference is supposed to be a non-issue…something less than insignificant and not at all bad, immoral or indecent.

So why is calling someone a lesbian bad? Why is pointing out what she openly admits, bad? If homosexuality is a-ok, why is calling someone a homo a “derogatory” comment and “completely inappropriate”?

Or was it the “fat” part…?

I can see it now–a new civil rights mantra: One may not be discrminated against based on race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation or size…gee whiz, what’s next? Hair color?

He called me a…ooh I can’t even bring myself to say it…it’s too awful…he called me a, a brunette! I’m so offended by such a derogatory remark!

Story here.

Mexico’s Delusions of Civilization

Lame-duck el Presidente Fox is on the way out, so he feels free to agree with the common Mexican view of superiority to Americans, as well as express a thinly veiled hostility. Such friendly neighbors we have, and so astute! [Mexico's love-hate relationship with the U.S., Houston Chronicle 11/2/06]

“We are already a step ahead, having been born in Mexico. Imagine being born in the United States, oof!” Fox said Tuesday with a chuckle, according to the Associated Press, after a remark that Mexicans should be thankful for their heritage.

Being a Mexican is doubtless a swell lifestyle for members of its elite class like Presidente Fox. They “live like maharajas” in ostentatious wealth according to scholar George Grayson.

Still, it is amazing that Fox would brag on the superiority of his third-world sewer while Mexico is devolving daily into narco-anarchy, plus fighting a continuing rebellion in Oaxaca. Not only that, Mexico is sexist, increasingly violent, world famous for corruption and uneducated in typical banana republic style.

Meanwhile, Mexican officials (like Enrique Berruga, Mexico’s United Nations ambassador quoted below) are planning for Uncle Sucker to bail out their riff-raff country through the North American Union boondoggle. Funny how all Mexican solutions to their problems involve mass quantities of American taxpayer dollars [Mexican diplomat urges a partnership, San Antonio Express 10/31/06].

U.S.-Mexico relations could remain paralyzed unless leaders of the two nations and Canada formalize a North American partnership — akin to the European Union — before the U.S. baby boomer retirement wave hits in the next eight years, a ranking Mexican diplomat said here Tuesday. [...]

Instead of putting up fences or walls, U.S. policy would be better served by investing more in Mexico so the country can do a better job of standing on its own, keeping its work force employed instead of watching it flee north, he said.

We will be together forever and we need to make the best out of it,” Berruga said.

Not if the friends of American sovereignty have anything to do with it.
