Mexicans Line Up at the Citizenship Office

The number of people pursuing naturalization is above recent averages, and designated experts say the reason is “anti-immigration” sentiment abroad in the land. In fact, applications are on track to reach one million this year.

“The anti-immigrant sentiment is bordering on the xenophobic, and people are taking notice of that,” said Evan Bacalao of the National Assn. of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Educational Fund in Los Angeles. “So even though the fees have increased, people still want to make sure their voices are heard.”

To help boost the number of new citizens even more, an alliance of hundreds of organizations last week launched a “100 Days” national campaign to urge immigrants to apply for citizenship in time for the 2008 election.

In other words, they openly admit they don’t want citizenship because they love America, but because they hate our people and traditions and want to transform it via demographic warfare into Mexico North. They only care about the money and political power.

Meanwhile, a Hispanic non-profit is making the process easier by offering a big chunk of the $675 fee: New loans offered for citizenship applications [Orange County Register 11/1/07].

A nonprofit will offer up to $400 in no-interest loans to help immigrants apply to become U.S. citizens.

Will immigrants be required to pay back the loan, or will such capitalist notions be overlooked? Inquiring minds want to know.

If You Are Thinking Of Moving, Do Your Homework First

I received an e-mail from a regular New Jersey reader, retired economics professor John H. Cicollo, Jr.

In addition to our commitment to patriotic immigration reform, Ciccolo and I share something else. We are both considering moving from our current home states–New Jersey and California.

But, Ciccolo wonders, where if we want to avoid illegal immigration should we go?

To help readers pondering the same question, Ciccolo provided me with the Illegal Alien Tracking System website. See it here.

Study it thoroughly before you pack your bags.

California Citizens Remain Displeased about Mexican Invasion

If the useless politicians in Sacramexico thought voter anger over our state’s ongoing Mexifornication would conveniently (for them) evaporate into the San Francisco fog, guess again: unrestrained immigration anarchy is a top concern.

California voters are becoming increasingly pessimistic, with immigration issues topping their worries, according to a new Field Poll released Friday. [...]

In the new poll, 21 percent of voters named immigration and border control as their top concern - well ahead of public schools (13 percent) and the economy (9 percent).

“There’s a lot of reasons, but when we see concerns about the economy, we usually see a spike on immigration, too,” said Jaime Regalado, director of the Pat Brown Institute of Public Affairs at California State University Los Angeles. “It’s a pocketbook issue - but it’s an issue that has just not gone away.” [...]

A Field Poll from July 2006 found that even during better economic times, 58 percent of Californians believed the problem of illegal immigration was a serious one; with 71 percent saying the number of federal agents patrolling the border should be increased.

Liberal pundits like to blame the public’s concern on economic issues only, an analysis that is adequate enough for newspaper work. Pocketbook worries (like the billions of dollars we taxpayers are forced to spend on illegal alien social services) are indeed genuine, along with concerns over resource shortages, falling educational quality and worsening crime.

However, the desire to protect the Ameria’s cultural heritage and maintain our national identity runs far deeper. No loyal citizen wants to live in Mexifornia. We want Mexicans to return to the land of their birth and even do some home improvements on their lovely country.
