Get The Message: He That Hath No Stomach…

Thanks, JW, for Unexpected arrest made in bias probe at NY church LoHud.com September 5th, 2009

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - Police investigating alleged harassment of Hispanics at a Long Island church made an arrest in the case Friday night, and the suspect is also Hispanic

No really professional Journalist could have written that headline. It is a simple fact that a large proportion of “Hate Crimes” are hoaxes – for instance here – and here.

Police say Garcia also left anti-Hispanic notes on a church altar Wednesday

However, we can be confident that there will be a big increase in complaints from the privileged groups once the new Hate Crime legislation atrocity is forced through.

Any one care to take a bet on this?

Hate Crime Recording: The Deck Is Stacked Against Whites Friday, September 4, 2009

This reports that:

The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating a string of recent anti-Mexican bias attacks in the Bronx.

However

The suspects in all of the attacks are believed to be Dominican, making these hate crimes Hispanic-on-Hispanic. But since the FBI doesn’t track Hispanic hate crime suspects, these attacks in the Bronx are all recorded as white-on-Hispanic.

Don’t believe me? Here’s a link to the FBI’s Hate Crime Incident Report. In the ‘Bias Motivation’ section, ‘Anti-Hispanic’ is listed. Yet in the ‘Suspected Offender’s Race’ section, Hispanic is not listed. Hispanic suspects are recorded as ‘White.’

This gives me the chance to comment on the latest Southern Poverty Law Center’s ($PLC’s) latest /fundraiser Report Climate of Fear by Mark Potok.

This is a very important development in two ways.

Firstly, it represents a shift of targeting from Southern Wasps – apparently now almost (but not entirely) intimidated and brainwashed from the ferocious ways of their ancestors.

Secondly, there is the prominent featuring of the demand for political repression:

local politicians should halt their angry demagoguery on the issue of immigration. There is abundant evidence that Suffolk County officials have contributed substantially to an atmosphere conducive to racial violence.

It is absolutely clear that political repression is the plan. Things are about to get very rough.

He that have no stomach for this fight, let him depart

“A Mugging on Lake Street”

Continuing my recent Chicago nostalgia-fest, here’s an article from Chicago Magazine by liberal investigative reporter John Conroy, whose career has been dedicated to exposing the use of torture by Chicago area cops on black suspects. In “A Mugging on Lake Street,” however, the muggee was Conroy. While riding his bike westbound on Lake Street under the El tracks through the West Side of Chicago (which my in-laws were driven out of by violence in 1970) to his home in Oak Park, he was knocked unconscious by a 16 year old black kid. No robbery, no apparent motive other than racial hatred.

Not long after, I was talking about the incident with my neighbor and fellow journalist Alex Kotlowitz, [email him] interpreter of racial maladies in There Are No Children Here and The Other Side of the River. I mentioned the coincidence of hearing the same thing from two such different sources. “I don’t think there is any question that it had to do with race,” Kotlowitz said. (Our initial conversation was over the fence, and I recently asked him to reconstruct his perception.) “There is some surmising here, but what other explanation is there for it? It is not like they had some animosity toward bikers.”

But he found the notion of a hate crime problematic. It presumes, he said, that the assailant acted out of racism, which by Kotlowitz’s definition requires a belief that one’s race is superior to another’s. “In this instance, I don’t think he felt superior. I think probably he felt diminished in some way and that was part of the lashing out.”

Violently Deranged Chinese Immigrant Shot by San Francisco Police

There was an unfortunate — and probably preventable — shooting in San Francisco on Saturday of a recent Chinese immigrant who should have been kept out of this country.

SF police shoot knife-wielding man, San Francisco Chronicle, September 5, 2009

A knife-wielding man believed to have a long history of mental illness was shot and killed in his home early this morning by a San Francisco police officer, authorities said.

Why is Washington admitting immigrants with “a long history of mental illness”? Immigration ranks high on the behaviors that create stress, and is not recommended for persons already psychologically disturbed.

The landlord reported that his tenant was chasing and threatening the roommate with a cleaver, said homicide Inspector Antonio Luis Casillas.

Officers arrived at the scene, managed to corner the suspect and ordered him in English and in Cantonese to drop the weapon, Casillas said. More officers arrived with a bean-bag launcher. The suspect was struck with the nonlethal projectiles several times, but police were unable to take him down.

“It appears that the suspect then began to charge officers and the officer (who fired the fatal shot) felt that his life and the life of his co-workers were in danger,” Casillas said. [...]

Authorities would not release the identity the suspect, saying they were still trying to contact his relatives. They said he was born in 1972 and was a recent immigrant from China who spoke Cantonese.

At least there were no innocents killed in this case, unlike many other instances of immigrants run amok. But the disturbed Chinese man would have been a lot better off living in his own culture rather than residing in a society foreign to him, a situation that surely magnified his psychological problems.
