When young Somali immigrants aren’t pursuing jihad in the dear homeland, some of the tribe think it’s a big yuck to assault people and put it on YouTube. Several self-appointed “stars” recently mugged it up with their real names, then knocked down old people and children–the Somali Tubers were too cowardly to pick victims strong enough to fight back.

Even the normally diversity-enthralled Star Tribune reported the story with a degree of disapproval: Police on the trail of attackers shown in YouTube video.

A YouTube video of eight young men terrorizing bicyclists and pedestrians — including children and older people — in what appear to be Minneapolis and St. Paul has triggered an investigation by police in both cities.

Edited and set to music, the video shows the group of what appear to be teenagers or young men taking turns saying, “Watch this,” before knocking down victims and running away, laughing.

Somebody has put up the original Tube (HERE) that was pulled, plus a little commentary tacked on; there’s no reason to think that version won’t be pulled too. But it is available for viewing now, if you don’t mind subjecting yourself to some seriously repulsive stupid.

The good news is that the feeble-mindedness of the criminals made finding them easy for law enforcement: Police arrest 4 in videotaped assaults posted on YouTube (KARE-11 TV, Nov 19).

Also on Wednesday, one of the alleged victims came forward to report what he says happened to him.

Paul Dickinson, 71, of St. Paul said he was on his evening stroll along Grand Avenue near Avon Avenue in St. Paul when a man ran at him from behind and tackled him.

“I had no advanced warning at all, so I just fell like a stone.  I did a faceplant on the sidewalk,” Dickinson said.

Dickinson also spotted the young man running away and laughing after the attack.  It was a scene he didn’t expect to see again — until he learned of the now infamous video.  Dickinson believes his attack was one of those included in the video.

“I  think what did they do, was that on their list, they had to go tackle an old man,” he said.

Just think, we would have missed all this enriching diversity without multicultural immigration.

The President who thinks we shouldn’t jump to conclusions about Dr. Hasan’s Jihad doesn’t want an investigation to clarify the facts either. What possible good could come from covering up this attack? Does he think Americans will forget about the first terrorism on our soil since 9/11?

President Barack Obama on Saturday urged Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood rampage until federal law enforcement and military authorities have completed their probes into the shootings at the Texas Army post, which left 13 people dead.

On an eight-day Asia trip, Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to “resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater.” He said those who died on the nation’s largest Army post deserve justice, not political stagecraft.

“The stakes are far too high,” Obama said in a video and Internet address released by the White House while the president he was flying from Tokyo to Singapore, where Pacific Rim countries were meeting.

Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, 39, was charged on Thursday with the shooting spree at Fort Hood last week. Army investigators have said Hasan is the only suspect and could face additional charges. [Obama urges Congress to put off Fort Hood probe, November 14, 2009 ]

Meanwhile, several soldiers’ funerals are scheduled for Saturday. Sgt. Amy Krueger’s casket was on view in her high school in Kiel, Wisconsin, shown below.

The Fort Hood shooter was not as assimilated to American values as the protectors of diversity would have you believe.

U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.

It is not known whether the intelligence agencies informed the Army that one of its officers was seeking to connect with suspected al Qaeda figures, the officials said.

Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said that he requested the CIA and other intelligence agencies brief the committee on what was known, if anything, about Hasan by the U.S. intelligence community, only to be refused.

In response, Hoekstra issued a document preservation request to four intelligence agencies. The letter, dated November 7th, was sent to directors Dennis Blair (DNI), Robert Mueller (FBI), Lt. Gen Keith Alexander (NSA) and Leon Panetta (CIA).

Hoekstra said he is “absolutely furious” that the house intel committee has been refused an intelligence briefing by the DNI or CIA on Hasan’s attempt to reach out to al Qaeda, as first reported by ABC News.

“This is a law enforcement investigation, in which other agencies–not the CIA–have the lead,” CIA spokesman Paul Gimigliano said in a response to ABC News. ” Any suggestion that the CIA refused to brief Congress is incorrect.” [Officials: U.S. Aware of Hasan Efforts to Contact al Qaeda,November 9, 2009 ]

How curious that information about Hasan’s fondness for terrorism is being squelched.

Another item of jihadist evidence is the card which Hasan handed out along with Korans (reported by Atlas): It reads SoA under his name, meaning “Soldier of Allah.”

Furthermore, the feigned shock of the Army that Muslims in the American military would go jihad is belied by the list from WND noting “At least a dozen other Muslim soldiers have been convicted of terrorism or espionage since 9/11.” If the military doesn’t think there is a Muslim terrorist problem in its ranks, then it is not paying attention or is in serious denial.

Army Didn’t Want To Appear Too “Anti-Muslim”, Hasan Had Links To Hijackers.

Today is the fifth anniversary of the murder of Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh by hostile Muslim Mohammed Bouyeri because he perceived the artist’s message was anti-Islam. What fueled the killer’s fury was how the film Submission showed Islam’s inherent brutality toward women. (Watch Part 1 of Submission on YouTube.)

The anniversary of the attack prompted foreign journalists to check on the multicultural tensions and Muslim radicalisation in the Dutch capital. The Netherlands’ immigration issues have remained high on the agenda, fuelled by populist politician Geert Wilders and his Party for Freedom (PVV). But no attacks, home grown or from outside, have taken place since November 2, 2004.

That was the morning Mohammed B. followed Theo van Gogh on his bicycle before he shot him eight times with a handgun. The 47-year-old filmmaker fell to the ground, where his assassin slit his throat and pinned a note to his body with a knife. The note was a death threat to Ayaan Hirsi Ali with whom Van Gogh had made the short film Submission, about the abuse of women under Islam, and called for jihad.

B., son of Moroccan immigrants, was born and raised in Amsterdam. “The turnaround in his behaviour happened in this building”, Achmed Marcouch told reporters on a tour of the Amsterdam immigrant neighbourhood Slotervaart last week. Marcouch has been Slotervaart’s borough chairman since 2006 and the building he showed the journalists was the community centre Eigenwijks, where B. was a volunteer. (It’s kind of bizarre that this Dutch news site [NRC Handelsblad] doesn’t use the killer’s name, since he is in the slammer and is not entitled to any deference.)

At a time when Lou Dobbs reports a shot fired at his home, the physical security of people who insist that immigration be legal remains a matter for concern.

The Dutch Defence League put up this video remembering Van Gogh a couple days ago.

I remember seeing this person, Dalia Mogahed, on a C-Span presser promoting a Gallup poll about Muslims residing in America, which inspired me to write a critical blog item: Muslim Poll Omits the Negative. At that time, Muslim mouthpiece Mogahed chirped out the magical D-word, “We discovered how diverse Muslim Americans are.” So meaningful.

She is also one of Obama’s many advisors, and she has used that position to spread the lie that Islam is a “religion of peace.”

Remember that the President stated in Cairo to a Muslim audience that “the United States government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab and to punish those who would deny it.”

Instead of assuring Muslims that they can oppress women in America, it would have been nice for the President to stand on the side of women who don’t want to be imprisoned by their strictures of their misogynous religion. But Obama appears to prefer diversity ideology over justice.

Miss Mogahed, appointed to the President’s Council on Faith-Based and Neighbourhood Partnerships, said the Western view of Sharia was “oversimplified” and the majority of women around the world associate it with “gender justice”.

The White House adviser made the remarks on a London-based TV discussion programme hosted by Ibtihal Bsis, a member of the extremist Hizb ut Tahrir party.

The group believes in the non-violent destruction of Western democracy and the creation of an Islamic state under Sharia Law across the world.

Miss Mogahed appeared alongside Hizb ut Tahrir’s national women’s officer, Nazreen Nawaz.

During the 45-minute discussion, on the Islam Channel programme Muslimah Dilemma earlier this week, the two members of the group made repeated attacks on secular “man-made law” and the West’s “lethal cocktail of liberty and capitalism”.

They called for Sharia Law to be “the source of legislation” and said that women should not be “permitted to hold a position of leadership in government”.

Miss Mogahed made no challenge to these demands and said that “promiscuity” and the “breakdown of traditional values” were what Muslims admired least about the West. [...]

Miss Mogahed admitted that even many Muslims associated Sharia with “maximum criminal punishments” and “laws that… to many people seem unequal to women,” but added: “Part of the reason that there is this perception of Sharia is because Sharia is not well understood and Islam as a faith is not well understood.”

So very offensive remarks were made by a member of an Islamic extremist group against America and the West, with no objection from the President’s advisor on Muslim affairs. [WATCH.] No wonder some people think Obama is a closet Muslim if this is the kind of person he chose as a counselor.

Of course, sharia law is not merely oppressive toward women; it is seen by jihadist Muslims as the future replacement for the Constitution and other documents of national law when Islam triumphs over western civilization. Advocating sharia could easily be seen as seditious.

The “Colorado man” mentioned in this story is actually a Pakistani immigrant who plotted to blow up transportation links in New York City, according to authorities.

The man under FBI investigation for alleged ties to a New York subway terror plot has admitted he has ties to Al Qaeda and is in negotiations to plead guilty to a terror charge, FOX News confirmed Friday.

Najibullah Zazi reportedly told officials that he had received explosives training and his possible guilty plea would be part of a deal to cooperate with the government. [...]

Zazi, who authorities have said trained at a Pakistani terror camp, reportedly had bomb-making diagrams on a computer that he carried with him on a visit to New York. Zazi’s attorney had denied these allegations.

Naturally, the local Muslim fellows are shocked, shocked: Colorado Muslims shocked by FBI terror probe

Ziyad Alsoor, president of the Colorado Muslim Society in Denver, said he does not know Zazi but was shocked by the news. Alsoor said 30,000 Muslims call Colorado home.

“It seems like any time anyone of Muslim descent is investigated, all the news media goes crazy,” he said. “This doesn’t happen to Christians.”

Right, bub, that’s because Christians don’t go around committing murder in the name of their religion, unlike the Sons of Allah.

The Tube below is a couple days old and is full of denials but gives an idea of the investigation.

“Backlash” against immigrants is a favorite topic of the liberal media to advance its agenda of bashing America and squashing any resistance to multiculturalism through intimidation and propaganda. When a Korean college student mass-murdered dozens at Virginia Tech, reporters quickly searched out Korean immigrants to uncover incidents of violence of angry Americans against Koreans in retaliation. Nada. There were none.

We are now observing the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by jihadist Muslims who killed 3,000 people. Loyal Americans use the occasion to reflect on the loss of life and the stubborn enemy we still face. But in AP offices, busy adherants of diversity cooked up a formulaic, emotional propaganda piece about fearful Muslims cowering in their houses because of the “backlash” from mean-spirited Americans: US Muslims: backlash fear builds each 9/11 [AP, September 10 2009]

“There is the dread of leaving the house that morning. People might stare, or worse, yell insults.”

People staring and verbal insults? Oh, the horror!

“Prayers are more intense, visits with family longer. Mosques become a refuge.

Eight years after 9/11, many U.S. Muslims still struggle through the anniversary of the attacks. Yes, the sting has lessened. For the younger generation of Muslims, the tragedy can even seem like a distant memory. “Time marches on,” said Souha Azmeh Al-Samkari, a 22-year-old student at the University of Dayton in Ohio.

Yet, many American Muslims say Sept. 11 will never be routine, no matter how many anniversaries have passed.

“I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach every year,” said Nancy Rokayak of Charlotte, N.C., who covers her hair in public. “I feel on 9/11 others look at me and blame me for the events that took place.”

The Muslims interviewed are highly self-absorbed and not interested in the daily carnage racked up by their fellow religionists in the name of Islam. They would rather play the victim, despite their extreme inappropriateness for that role.

Muslim writer Shaila Abdullah mouths the message that the press promotes: “Muslims are a victim of the 9/11 tragedy as much as anyone else because our religion was hijacked that day.” [Austin author attempts to convey essence of Islam, post 9/11]

What a disgusting comment from an immigrant living a safe middle-class life in America. She is typical in that she wants all the benefits of this country and none of the responsibility for the flavor of diversity she espouses. The Koran and other Muslim books have plenty of admonitions to slaughter the infidel, which Muslims acted upon during 9/11. But she wants her religion to be regarded as the “religion of peace” — which it most certainly is not. The website TheReligionOfPeace.com has kept a detailed list and running count of Islamic terror attacks since 9/11 — now reaching over 14,000.

Forget Muslims’ bogus complaints; a 2006 FBI survey of crimes against ethic groups found that Muslims were underrepresented as victims, contrary to the propaganda. An Investors Business Daily piece summed up the findings in Hyping Hate Crime Vs. Muslims:

“In 2006, a whopping 66% of religiously motivated attacks were on Jews, while just 11% targeted Muslims, even though the Jewish and Muslim populations are similar in size. Catholics and Protestants, who together account for 9% of victims, are subject to almost as much abuse as Muslims in this country.

Last year’s anti-Islamic hate crimes totaled 156. While just one hate crime is one too many, that’s a 68% drop from 2001.

The FBI report gives lie to CAIR’s alarmist narrative of “Islamophobic” lynch mobs marching on mosques across America. In reality, Americans have been remarkably, and admirably, tolerant and respectful of Muslims and their institutions since 9/11.”

Unsurprisingly, there’s little MSM reporting about Jews’ reasonable fears about Muslim attacks on synagogues, even though there’s a lot of that going around. (One exception was the recent NY Post item about a kick-ass Second Amendment rabbi: Go ahead, make my high holiday.)

The dinosaur MSM is stuck on Muslims as victims and does not care that many of them despise western civilization and won’t be happy until we are either dead or brainwashed into their religiously tinged fascism.

Crocodile tears are being shed along the Nile for a female member of the Egyptian tribe who was murdered in a German courtroom: Egypt mourns ‘headscarf martyr’ [BBC, July 6, 2009].

It was indeed a terrible crime: a pregnant Muslim woman was stabbed to death on the witness stand by a man who had called her a terrorist.

Interestingly, the attacker is described as a “Russian of German decent who immigrated to Germany in 2003.” Diversity is everywhere.

But the shrieking in Egypt’s rallies over the murder is a little overdone, considering the normal level of disrespect women get in Islamic societies. AP reported that “Thousands of Egyptian mourners marched behind the coffin of the ‘martyr of the head scarf’ on Monday”.

Say, when was the last time that “thousands” of Muslims became irate about an Islamic female getting offed? When Muslim women are killed, it’s usually Muslim men who are the perps, and that’s okay. There were definitely men protesting; the photo here shows only women because rallies in Egypt are commonly gender segregated. (Curiously, a woman whose face is completely covered is holding an Islamically incorrect picture of victim Marwa Sherbini with her face showing.)

Of course, the mob of Muslim men howling up a storm were only upset at the perceived slight to Islam, not that a mere woman had been killed.

The body of a Muslim woman, killed in a German courtroom by a man convicted of insulting her religion, has been taken back to her native Egypt for burial.

Marwa Sherbini, 31, was stabbed 18 times by Axel W, who is now under arrest in Dresden for suspected murder.

Husband Elwi Okaz is also in a critical condition in hospital, after being injured as he tried to save his wife.

Ms Sherbini had sued her killer after he called her a “terrorist” because of her headscarf.

The case has attracted much attention in Egypt and the Muslim world.

German prosecutors have said the 28-year-old attacker, identified only as Axel W, was driven by a deep hatred of foreigners and Muslims.

Funny, there have been around 50 honor killings in Germany since 1996 with no concern from the Muslim world about those women murder victims. I don’t recall any outrage when Hatin Surucu was killed by her brother because she “lived like a German,” meaning as a free individual rather than a doormat of Allah.

Another victim was Morsal Obeidi, 16, stabbed 20 times by her brother who resented her easy assimilation to western life. No anger from the ummah about her cold-blooded murder either. Apparently there is an inverse relationship with distance and the value of a female life.

This brouhaha could turn into a new cartoon jihad episode: The headscarf martyr: murder in German court sparks Egyptian fury.

She has become a national symbol of persecution for a growing number of demonstrators, who have taken to the streets in protest at the perceived growth in Islamophobia in the west. Sherbini’s funeral took place in her native Alexandria on Monday in the presence of thousands of mourners and leading government figures. There are plans to name a street after her. [...]

Angry mourners at the funeral in Alexandria accused Germany of racism, shouting slogans such as “Germans are the enemies of God” and Egypt’s head mufti Muhammad Sayyid Tantawy called on the German judiciary to severely punish Alex W.

The Egyptian mob men are trying to portray Muslims as the victim. Certainly a Muslim woman was killed in an outrageous manner, but nobody should be surprised that Europeans are angry (a few murderously so it appears) about mass Muslim immigration. The presence of hostile Muslim immigrants in Europe has led to numerous murders and terrorism.

One terrorist act that comes to mind is the 2005 London public transport attacks where 52 people were killed by four Muslim suicide bombers. July 7 is the fourth anniversary of that terrible event, and a memorial was dedicated in Hyde Park.

Politicians like Sen. Joe Lieberman are maddening (but common). He is bright enough to see the danger arising from hostile Somalis residing in America, yet his lifetime immigration voting grade is D- and his recent record rates an F-.

On Wednesday, Sen. Lieberman chaired a hearing titled “Violent Islamist Extremism: al-Shabaab Recruitment in America.” The Senator’s cognitive dissonance about unfriendly immigrants was further indicated by the characterization in his opening statement of the Somalis here as “victims” of “small group of extremists who are essentially terrorizing their own community.”

There is an increasing threat of homegrown terror stemming from segments of a deeply isolated and alienated Somali-American community, a U.S. Senate committee hearing concluded Wednesday.

The hearing, conducted by the Senate Homeland and Governmental Affairs Committee, focused on the attempted recruitment of young Somali-American men by al-Shabaab, “a violent and brutal extremist (Somali) group” with significant ties to al Qaeda, according to the U.S. State Department.

“Over the last two years, individuals from the Somali community in the United States, including American citizens, have left for Somalia to support and in some cases fight on behalf of al-Shabaab,” noted the committee’s chairman, Sen. Joseph Lieberman, I-Connecticut.

The hearing [Senate page here has a video and witness testimony] included some common-sense cultural observations…

“The (tough) adjustment to American society has reinforced their greater insularity compared to other more integrated recent immigrant communities and has aggravated the challenges of assimilation for their children,” [Andrew Liepman] said. [...]

Many refugees, he said, “lack structure and definition in their lives” and are “torn between their parents’ traditional tribal and clan identities and the new cultures and traditions offered by American society.”

That’s right, and furthermore it’s cruel to plunk primitive tribal people (who have never ridden in a car or switched on an electric light) into 21st century American cities. Better to resettle them in more similar African cultures, where they won’t experience extreme social alienation from the mainstream society.

Of course, Islamist terror doctrine being readily available in mosques and on the internet makes their presence in our country dangerous for us Americans.

Another aspect to the Senate hearing was the Rorschach nature of reporting about it. CNN (above) reasonably emphasized the threat. But the Los Angeles Times headlined with a pro-Islam viewpoint: American Somali youths aren’t seen posing major risk.

Reporting from Washington — There is no evidence that radicalized Somali American youths who have disappeared over the last two years are being trained abroad to attack the United States, intelligence and law enforcement officials told members of a Senate panel Wednesday.

You can watch the whole hearing and make your own decision whether Somali immigrants pose a threat. However, the disturbing political correctness from government officials about “small segments” of immigrant communities can’t disguise the danger of the Islamic fifth column. Small numbers of committed jihadists can kill thousands, as 19 hijackers did on 9/11.

In the last few months, a couple dozen Somali immigrants decided the American thing was not to their liking, and they returned to the dear homeland to pursue jihad. In fact, one “Twin Cities man” (as identified by the press) blew himself up along with 30 others in Mogadishu in order to advance the agenda of Islam.

The young jihadist fellows who traveled to Somalia all attended one Minneapolis mosque, the Abubakar Islamic Center, so the FBI is sensibly taking an interest in activities there. This is a welcome change from the extreme deference the FBI accorded Sons of Allah where in years past the agency has denied monitoring mosques, which may have been true or not. However, convictions of Muslims have accumulated in the last several years, particularly the important Holy Land Foundation case, so the FBI may believe it can now be more honest about its intelligence gathering. It is reassuring for citizens who may have worried that the FBI has become hopelessly PC as indicated by its excessive and undiscerning Muslim outreach. Hopefully there will be more police work and less (preferably zero!) touchy-feely.

Mosques have long been centers of anti-America organizing, as a result of Saudi funding of radical publications and the mosques themselves. A 2005 investigation of US mosques by Freedom House found that Muslims in the United States are instructed that they should “behave as if on a mission behind enemy lines”.

On election night last November, the outcome was wildly celebrated by Somalis living in Minneapolis, 70,000-strong, mostly refugees from their war-torn country. It is the largest Somali community in the United States, reports CBS News correspondent Dean Reynolds.

But the evening was noteworthy for something else, too. That night, the latest in a line of young Somalis who grew up here, departed unannounced for Somalia itself, joining a civil war in a country few had ever seen and causing concern in the United States.

Hussein Samatar’s 17-year old nephew left without a word to his family.

“He was an A student,” says Samatar. “He has everything to hope for to attend any Ivy League school that he wanted to. Why he would do it is a mystery to us.”

Some 20 vanished last year - all American citizens - an exodus the FBI has noticed for a troubling reason.

“He could have done it here,” says Omar Jamal, a Somali advocate in Minnesota. “We don’t see anything that would have prevented him from doing this right here in the heart of Minneapolis.”

Yes, Shirwa Ahmed could have blown himself up in the huge Mall of America nearby and killed lots of infidels. It’s reasonable to assume that mosque leaders have exhorted young men to do their explosive behavior in Somalia and not the United States. The lack of bombings in the US gives credence to Robert Spencer’s contention in his recent book Stealth Jihad that jihadists are now committed to using peaceful means to achieve their long-term aim of a worldwide caliphate including America.

It’s a smart strategy, because bombs just make Americans angry. The left’s various arms like the press and the ACLU provide plenty of means for overturning traditional society using existing means. When someone disagrees with the Islamic agenda, there are deep pockets for lawyers and mouthpieces to raise a squawk about “racism” even though Islam is a religion and not a race. Trifles like accuracy no longer matter in our devolved public discourse, where cultural intimidation is pursued rather than honest discourse over differences.

Of course, it’s Muslim immigration that facilitates this infiltration and subversion, and a wise country would stop welcoming potential enemies. Wouldn’t it?
